- Description
A crisp and fresh wine, with plenty of juicy melon, citrus and pear flavors. Light notes of mineral and refreshing acidity make this wine a perfect pairing with a summer green salad or smoked chicken.
This Pinot Grigio has spicy aroma of citrus, melon, pears, and stone fruit. On the palate, the wine is crisp and fresh, with plenty of juicy fruit flavors, a light note of minerals, and good body and acidity. Long and pleasant finish. This varietal is noted for its affinity to food. Enjoy with seafood, poultry, light pastas, mild cheeses, salads, or on its own as a delightful aperitif.
The grapes for this bottling were sourced from vineyards in the Sacramento County and Lodi region (San Joaquin County) and Santa Barbara County. The wine was cold fermented at 50 degrees Fahrenheit to retain the fresh fruity aromas and flavors. No oak aging or malolactic fermentation was used.
