Thibault Liger-Belair Hautes-Cotes de Nuits La Corvee de Villy 2016 comes from limestone and white marl soils that tends to ripen earlier than the others according to Thibault Liger-Belair. It offers a more austere and reserved bouquet at first, but soon opens with attractive red cherry and chalk dust aromas.

The palate is energetic and sorbet-fresh on the entry, lively and brisk with a taut line of acidity, with the finish quite reserved in style but very focused and long in the mouth. Very fine.
