Monte dei Ragni Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore 2018

Velvety, smooth, rich, complex and warm this is one of the highest examples of Valpolicella Ripasso.

The Ripasso technique consists of "pimping" the new Valpolicella Classico Superiore by adding the dried grapes that were used already for Amarone. These air dried grapes are partially spent - less sugary, but still juicy enough to add tons of flavour to the already rich wines of Valpolicella. What a feast!

Aged in oak barrels for at least three years, this wines is perfect with roch meat dishes such as roasts, ragouts or stews, as well as any kind of gameo or hard, aged cheese. Ideally serve at 18°C temperature.
