This mineral, crisp wine offers concentrated acidity and lemon flavors. It is rounded, rich with yellow fruits and with a tight texture that will allow the wine to age.
This is so plump and ripe it reads as a New World chardonnay when it’s first poured. Then it heads back to its homeland as it opens to rich scents of Epoisses. There’s freshness here, so the wine feels saturated in flavor without being pushed or pushy. Give it time for that freshness to tether the ripe orange and golden chamomile flavors, and the Puligny side of the wine will come into focus.
