The 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos des Ormes 1er Cru is nicely composed on the nose, featuring blackberry, sous-bois and light cedar aromas. The palate is medium-bodied and quite gentle in the mouth, with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity and a pleasant saline/briny note that attracts you back for another sip.
It will match very well with red meat and most of cheeses.
