Il Brunone Chianti Classico Riserva 2011

Made with 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo, this has aromas of plum cake, leather, and vanilla. The ripe, savory palate offers juicy blackberry, star anise, white pepper and a touch of almond alongside firm, fine-grained tannins. Drink through 2024.

A wine with a deep ruby red colour; the impact on the nose is complex,  intense and long with typical sweet violet and black berry fragrance. In the mouth, it is a full body, harsh, with well-balanced tannins wine. A broad complex of aromas enriched by just a hint of toasty oak. Overall, a beautifully harmonious wine.
