- Description
An impressive 2011 release from Hennessy, the Paradis Imperial is a blend of rare 19th and 20th century cognacs inspired by the cognac that the company created in 1818 for Tsar Alexander I as a present from his mother. It's packaged in an elegant crystal decanter designed by Stephanie Balini and features an 18-carat gold plated label.
The nose reveals itself with the freshness of the first flowers of summer, as the most subtle perfumes waft through the air with a faultless finesse: spring essences, jasmine and orange flower swirl in a bouquet of remarkable intensity. The floral notes return on the palate, unremittingly, continually revealing new tones of expression.Inspired by the legend of an 1818 order of a unique blend of rare cognacs for Tsar Alexander I of Russia, Hennessy’s Master Blender Yann Fillioux has created Paradis Imperial in 2011.
This cognac of great stature is characterised by a great finesse. Comprised of eaux-de-vie aged between 30 and 130 years old, one must enjoy Paradis Imperial slowly, in order to fully appreciate the finesse of every single drop.
