Greg Norman Estates Sauvignon Blanc 2015 |
Bright and generous flavors of grapefruit, fresh citrus and tropical notes of pineapple and passion fruit. Light and flavorful on the palate with balanced, refreshing acidity.
WINEMAKING:
The Sauvignon Blanc fruit for this particular wine was sourced predominantly from the Awatere Valley sub-region of Marlborough, known for oering more dry herb notes and rich texture. The fruit was harvested in the cool of the night and then pressed on receipt into the winery. The free run juice was inoculated with a carefully selected yeast strain and fermented in stainless steel to retain the vibrant fresh fruit characters of the wine.
WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
This inaugural vintage of the Greg Norman Estates Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc oers bright and generous flavors of grapefruit, fresh citrus and tropical notes of pineapple and passion fruit. The wine is light and flavorful on the palate with balanced, refreshing acidity. This is an elegant style of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and incredibly food friendly.
