Domaine Arretxea Irouleguy Cuvee Haitza 2014

The domaine is located in Irouléguy in the heart of the Basque Country, The domaine Arretxea, which is literraly the “stone house” has been managed by the Riouspeyrous familly. Since then, they made the transition to biodynamics culture. The cuvée Haitza – “oak” in Basque has an imposing tannic structure.

A powerful nose which opens on a very intense aroma of dark cherries with hints of tobacco and leather. The acidity is well balanced with the texture and the ripe fruits.
