JAX Vineyards sources this estate Cabernet Sauvignon from the family's vineyard in northern Calistoga. David Jackson purchased the family vineyard after 5 years of searching for his ideal terroir encompassing alluvial loam soil, dry farmed vineyards, and the elemental protection of their little valley. 

Full-bodied and well proportioned, this wine carries through to a vibrant and lively finish. Dark aromas of ripe blackberries, currants and a hint of spice. This Cabernet Sauvignon coats the palate with dense layers of black cherry, cocoa nib, forest floor and soft hints of cedar.
