The montepulciano softens the aglianico nicely to make this wine very approachable now. Dark cherry and clove notes highlight nicely structured fruit that complement cuisine without being overpowered.
Limpid, amaranth / garnet color. Nose quite intense and quite varied: balsamic, cherry and raspberry jam, coca-cola, tamarind in evidence.
