These exquisite wines are quintessential Chablis, with unmistakable aromas of ancient crushed shells and a pronounced, racy mineral structure.The clay-limestone hillsides of the Kimmeridgian chain are excellent for growing dazzling, complex Chardonnay, also known here as “Beaunois.” The grapes from his vineyards throughout the Chablis appellation are blended into this fabulously complex village wine cuvée.
This particular wine comes from 35+ year old vines and is aged partially in stainless and partially in older, neutral oak. The '17 vintage gives this wine a bit of extra zip in the midpalate, and it's a supremely elegant and irresistibly mineral-driven wine.
