The  begins with a succulent and distinctively Italian aroma of dark fruit and lots of spice along with dried herbs and touches of leather, cedar, smoke and tobacco. Tasting reveals excellently integrated spice along with deep dark berry flavors and a smooth, silky mouthfeel.

This is wonderful stuff especially once it has some air. Chewy, grippy tannins lead into the very long, dry, lasting finish.
