DESCRIPTION

Sundial Chardonnay is characteristically golden straw in color, with aromas of tropical fruit like mango, pineapple, banana, ripe Kiwi and honeydew melon alongside notes of cinnamon, vanilla bean, lemon grass with hints of hazelnut and cloves. The wine is crafted to be fruit-forward, medium weight, with crisp citrus and lingering melon, pear and crème fraiche flavors. The balanced mouthfeel leads to a wonderfully lingering finish.Fetzer Quartz Chardonnay reveals flowery aromas with a touch of apple and juicy flavors of nectarine, tropical fruits and a hint of vanilla. He could enthuse about all the foods perfectly complemented by Fetzer Quartz Chardonnay, but Dennis thinks you should let it stand on its own first. In 1958, lumber merchant Barney Fetzer bought a ramshackle ranch in Redwood Valley as a home for his wife and a soon-to-be family of eleven children. Here, in the rugged hills of Mendocino, they toiled in their vineyards for a decade and turned their dream into reality with their first vintage in 1968. The family sold the business in 1992 to Brown-Forman Corporation.
