Ultimate Beverage Challenge 90 points - 2018 Ultimate Wine Challenge - Spring-like aromas of jasmine, fresh cut melon, and peach marmalade float from the glass on fine bubbles. Carbonation tickles the tongue while flavors of pear and lychee sit atop a clean minerality and ripe sweetness that pleases the senses..June/2018
Sourced from the Prosecco DOC, amongst the villages of Conegliano, Valdobbiadene, and Asolo, Chloe Prosecco defines the elegant sparkling style for which this captivating area is known. This wine is bursting with fresh fruit and fine bubbles, with notes of peach, green apple, citrus and white flowers on the nose and palate. It is light straw yellow in color with greenish hues. Opulent yet balanced with elegant acidity, this wine offers a crisp finish with a hint of minerality, revealing the proximity to the mountains and calcareous soils where the grapes are grown. Chloe Prosecco is made from 100% Glera grapes from ~60 acres of vineyards divided among approximately 10 small growers. During the second half of September, the clusters of grapes are harvested by hand and are immediately taken to the cellar where they are gently crushed and pressed. Initial fermentation takes place in 100% stainless steel at controlled temperatures. Secondary fermentation for this fresh and lively Prosecco takes place in pressure tanks in the traditional Charmat method.

A pleasant prosecco.
This prosecco allows itself to be imbibed easily enough, however, I would have liked a drier wine to be enjoyed with meals as well as an aperitif. At any rate, I could recommend it strictly to be savored with hors d'oeuvres prior to a more formal dinner or lunch.

Really nice Prosecco, I used to drink La Marca but find this to be better. Plus it's less expensive!
