Moroki Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022 |
Wine Orbit 93 Points
The Marlborough region in New Zealand is certainly known to all Sauvignon lovers.
The wine-growing region in the north of the island stands for top-quality white wines, among which the internationally best-known is probably the "Cloudy Bay".
One of our new discoveries is called Moroki and doesn't have to hide behind the iconic Cloudy Bay. Although the price difference is huge, the "little" Moroki has great potential for enjoyment.
The bouquet of this Sauvignon smells of gooseberries, melon and fresh herbs. Passion fruit is present on the palate, along with notes of citrus fruits. With a pleasant freshness that is not acid-dominated, a nice fullness and a long finish, the Moroki is worth every penny.
Tasting Notes
Typical aromas of gooseberries, melon and fresh herbs. Full and juicy taste with notes of passion fruit and citrus fruits.
