Cartoixà de la Marina (pink-skinned mutation of Xarel-Lo) from Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain; 6 days on skins in steel, then pressed to tank under lees for 4 months; light to medium bodied and dry, with dried yellow flowers and green olive, orange and melon, with under ripe cantaloupe and saline, a silky elegant structure, medium acid, and a crisp clean finish.
A great intro to orange wine, like a Georgian amber but much softer and more approachable.
