• Located in Serralunga, the Cerretta vineyard plays host to some of Barolo’s greatest names, including Giacomo Conterno • Southern exposure • Grown mostly in clay • Yields average about 5 tons per hectare • Maceration of 4 to 5 days, with rotary fermenters bringing depth and structure • Aged for two years in French barriques before resting in bottle prior to release • 500 cases are made annually
