This simple, quaffable red is a solid introduction to the Wirra Wirra stable. Ribena-like cassis notes dominate, picking up hints of vanilla on the palate and finishing crisp and dry.
This soft and fleshy red with aromas of ripe plums and red berry fruits with textural mouth feel of blackcurrant is named after the Scrubby Rise vineyard that sits outside Wirra Wirra's ironstone cellars.
Deep plum with a bright crimson edge. The bouquet is bright, ripe raspberry and sweet mulberry fruits, laced with fragrant cabernet leaf and dried herbs. Juicy red berries, ripe blue and black fruits as well as blood plum richness. The generous fleshy fruits are supportedby supple tannins and provide a wine with great flavour, freshness and balance.
