Figuero’s four months in barrel has an intense, violet-red color with violet reflections, confirming the wine’s youth. It is a clean and bright wine. The nose displays a nice complexity of full black and red-fruit aromas, including black berries, strawberries, cherries and redcurrant, with hints of black liquorice. The nose is well integrated with elegant and clean cocoa and coffee notes.
There is a strong, balanced mouth feel, showing good structure with hints of berries on the palate. The well rounded sweet tannins lead and a persistent, lingering finish.
