A Grand Cru of fabulous breadth and depth, it already shows stunning complexity and length. The Southern exposure had endowed it with great concentration and intensity, yet as always with Patrick and Marion here is a wine that majors on balance, minerality, complexity and length. A truly inspiring beverage.
From a south-facing site called Les Pougets, in the commune of Aloxe-Corton, they’ve just 0.17 hectare here. This unfurls on the palate with notes of citrus and crème patissière. Very long, savoury, and impressive.
