DESCRIPTION

If you think Alsace Pinot is desperately dilute, then think again for this is a truly superb wine that rivals the best of Burgundy. Grown on sandstone soils, the wine has a beautiful, floral, subtle but concentrated nose of redcurrant, pomegranate, and strawberry which on the palate are nice and crunchy.

There’s also a spicy feel, with high acidity and grainy tannins. Light-bodied but intense with a long finish. Gallus is smoky and stoney, with notes of cherries and blackberries. There is also a nice tannin here.
