Ruby red with purplish glow. Red berry aromas of raspberry, spur cherry, blackcurrant, licorice, rhubarb and leather. Soft taste with good midpalate weight, yet elegant, well balanced with soft tannins. Tasty finish with a touch of acidity and pleasant freshness.
One of the world’s rarest grapes from the Puglia region, Susumaniello produces intense wines with unbelievable complexity and refinement. It showcases layered flavors of red fruits, anise, and earth with balanced tannins leading into a mind-blowingly long finish.
Earthy tones of hot soil and clove meld with strawberry and cherry on the nose. The palate is supersmooth in feel, lifted by tangy acidity and a light mineral vein.
