Mature, complex nose of spice, dried fruits and leather. On the palate layers of fresh cherries and dried fruit flavours combine with brown spice and liquorice - to give a complex yet mellow and harmonious wine.
Produced from 100% Negroamaro grapes grown on gnarly old bush vines in Vallone’s Iore estate. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, and then the wine is matured for 6-8 months in 50 Hl Slavonian oak casks.
