Fedellos do Couto Conasbrancas 2018

Bright, orange-hued yellow. Fresh citrus and orchard fruit scents and floral, succulent herb and mineral topnotes. Chewy and broad on entry, offering pear skin, orange zest and peach flavors that tighten up on the back half. Shows a hint of smokiness on the penetrating finish, which features lingering chamomile, orange pith and pit fruit notes.

This is pretty intriguing stuff and I imagine it would make a great pairing with young blue or washed-rind cheeses.
