DESCRIPTION
Yapıncak variety is native to Şarköy – Tekirdağ on the European part of Turkey. Grown in a single vineyard with 50 year old vines at an altitude of 200 meters, it is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 18C and aged on its lees “sur lie” to provide complexity and with 10% barrel aging in French oak barrels.
The nose is aromatic with rich notes of lemon, quince and linden. Lovely citrus on the palate too – bright and crisp, and full in the mouth with a pleasant acidity and minerality.
