William Hill Cabernet Sauvignon Benchland 2016

This opulent wine is etched in tones of lemon chiffon, brioche and crème caramel. It's densely concentrated, creamy and rich, but shows a firmness of texture alongside baking spice on the finish. 

 This Benchland Series wine is crafted from select blocks on our William Hill Estate vineyard. This full-bodied, luscious Cabernet Sauvignon displays intense, concentrated fruit flavors and layers of complexity. Deep garnet in color, bold aromas of Crème de Cassis, blueberry syrup and plum compote are presented against of backdrop of earthiness. Intriguing and complex, palate follows the aromas.

Full bodied, it has a firm backbone of ripe tannins and copious amounts of layered black fruit on the lingering, savory finish. Enjoy with grilled steak and Chimichurri sauce, braised short ribs or lamb chops with garlic and rosemary.
