A blend of 80% Grüner Veltliner, 20% Dry Riesling. Hinter de Mauer is a local term from the town of Loiben Austria where Graham worked at Weingut Knoll. It is the space on a terraced vineyard between a row of vines and the wall on the next level.
A tricky place to work, but it produces exceptional fruit. Sometimes the juice is worth the extra squeeze.
