Our 2017 Louis Mel Sauvignon Blanc has crisp aromatics from lemon zest, grapefruit and boxwood. This wine has a rounded mouthfeel and a bright, lingering acidity. Today, the "Wente clone" is recognized as the preeminent grape in the area. Cool fermented it exhibits appealing and delicate peach and melon flavors. A nice aperitif.

A pleasurable example of what sauvignon blanc is meant to be: bold citrus served up on a stone or brick platter and complemented with a tropical crème anglaise. Grapefruit, pineapple, breadfruit.
