DESCRIPTION
Reyter's cream appears in the glass in a dense garnet red with a violet core. It smells intensely of mulberry and dark chocolate as well as elderberry and a subtle hint of violet.
On the palate it is juicy, with a distinctive tannin and, despite a lot of structure and power, a decent flow. You should give the cream some air and enjoy it from larger glasses. Why? Ideally with beef or venison, but also with a tart, spicy, powerful stew of tripe, mushrooms, raspberries and a roux with Jerusalem artichoke chips.
