Meulenhof, "Wehlener Sonnenuhr" Riesling Spatlese is an excellent white sweet wine with an intense fruity aroma and harmonious, long taste. Grapes for wine making are grown on the famous vineyard "Wehlener Sonnenuhr", which is known throughout the world as the absolutely supreme embodiment of Riesling.
The vineyard is located on a fairly steep hillside, at an altitude of 180 meters above sea level and has a southern exposition and soil from blue slate. Riesling's vines are not grafted and grow on their own roots. The harvest for the manufacture of "Velener Sonnenuer" Riesling Shpetlesse is going in two or three stages two weeks later than the deadline. Berries carefully selected, slightly pressed and gently pressed. Fermentation on sediment is carried out in small steel vats, lasts 6-8 weeks and forcibly stops to preserve the residual sugar.
