Honey, mango and pineapple notes on the nose. A bit above medium bodied with all tropical notes upfront coupled with a lot of depth. Lots of honey notes intermixed, especially through the middle which has superb density and depth. Mid-body also brings in of white orchard fruit notes (apple, white peach) that provide balance to the most overly sweet topical/honey upfront combination.
Combine this with some tart citrus notes towards the back and very good acidity and what you end up with a dessert wine certainly, but one showing a lot of complexity and one not defined solely by the richer, sweeter notes. With the acidity at this level, the wine can continue to age for many years.
