Aromas of barrel spice, red apple and cherry are followed by nicely textured fruit flavors. The tannins bring a lot of grit and grip.

Plummy purple not opaque with a rosy rim. Lots of smoke and caramel on the nose with some plum and cassis trying to sneak in at the end. Medium weight with polished coffee tannins. Ripe cherry coffee herbs licorice and a touch of raspberry with a smoke and caramel element
