Wagner Vineyards Chardonnay Unoaked 2016

The Wagners were a pioneering family in the Finger Lakes, growing fruit there for five generations. Bartlett pear and golden apple aromas abound in this fresh, dry style chardonnay. The palate has good weight with a solid backbone of acid and chalky minerality reminiscent of Chablis. A great wine to pair with shellfish, jellied terrines or chicken with Dijon mustard sauce.
