Vins Auvigue Pouilly-Fuisse Solutre 2015

This light yellow colored Chardonnay from France opens with an appealing light green apple bouquet with a hint of ginger ale. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with slightly elevated acidity that gives it brightness, but does not distract. The flavor profile is an almond and green apple blend with hints of golden raisin, lime and oak. The finish is dry and subtle. The Panel thought this would this wine would pair nicely with broiled halibut or Asian noodles with a peanut sauce. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A decadent golden green color, this Pouilly-Fuisse charms with delicate aromas of orange peel and spice. The palate is mineral-driven—full bodied, rich and round with notes of hazelnut and white flower. Hints of pepper linger on the lengthy finish.
