VINOSIA SESTO A QUINCONCE

The Sesto a Quincone is an incredible wine, Mario Ercolino (Vinosia), says: "This is the best wine of my life. I surpassed Patrimo, Serpico, my Taurasi from the vineyards and also the Marziacanale with this wine. This is the wine, that I always wanted to do. With the 2006 vintage, my dream of the Super-Aglianico came true." Only 6000 bottles of this pure Aglianico were filled.

 The grapes come from the oldest vineyards in Taurasi and were meticulously harvested of perfect quality. The wine was matured twice in new wood. After the first barrique storage, the wine was again transferred to brand new barriques with the first racking. In total, the wine spent a full 24 months in new barrels!
