Deep ruby. Nose: strawberry, black cherry, red liquorice, roasted red bell pepper, mild smoke, vanilla and chocolate. Mouth: dry, med+ acidity, med+ silky tannins, med body with black cherry, plum, game, bay leaf and black pepper, plus dark chocolate and earth leading into med+ finish. Elegant mouthfeel. Vegetal and herbaceous notes underlying and assembled with earthiness.
