Appearance: Deep amber to caramel color, with golden highlights that suggest its aged nature and concentration.
Nose: Intense and complex aromas of dried fruits like figs, raisins, and apricots, along with notes of caramel, honey, and toffee. There are also subtle hints of spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of vanilla from the oak aging. A slight oxidative note adds depth, reminiscent of aged sherry.
Palate: Full-bodied and luscious with a rich, viscous texture. The palate is dominated by flavors of dried apricots, candied orange peel, dates, and fig jam. The sweetness is well-balanced by vibrant acidity, which provides a refreshing lift and prevents the wine from being cloying.
