IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS
A lively and graceful wine, fruity and floral, with hints of dried fruit (apricot, peach) and honey. On the palate it's fresh, acidic, savoury, with more flowers and a slight bitter aftertaste. Lumassina is a typical vine of the Savona area, in western Liguria.
Locally it's called also Mataossu or Buzzetto. From other sources it appears that Mataossu and Buzzetto are Lumassina-based wines, but according to others, these are different but related grape varieties.
It's a bright style red, medium body, wild flower, zingy berry fruit, a touch of spice and silky texture
