Vignerons de Buxy Montagny Buissoniier 2007 |
A beautiful white Burgundy, it's got backbone, and rich, full body. It's unoaked Chardonnay, to be exact, so the fruit shines bright, along with citrus and mineral notes, and even a whisper of hazelnut. Think fish, seafood, chicken and pork. Serve poached salmon and a caper butter sauce with this fabulous Frenchie, and listen to the murmurs of delight. A delicious Catalan favorite is lobster fideos, or toasted angel hair pasta cooked in the lobster broth for a mouthwatering result, studded with big chunks of lobster meat. Roast chicken with porcini, morel and truffle paste cream sauce if you've decided that spring will never come... And even farther down the road, this is a perfect match for roast turkey. It's never too early to stock up. N'est-ce pas, winelovers.
This wine has a brilliant light golden colour, a very intense and complex nose of exotic fruits giving way to white peach and hazelnut. It is powerful, very lively and fresh, making it very full-bodied. Spicy hints appear in the mouth. The aromas are intense and long-lasting - a gourmet wine!
Crustaceans served hot or au gratin, fine fish pan-fried or in puff pastry, baked or stewed white meats, or on the more exotic side, paella, Asian cuisine… all respect the rich aroma of Montagny. Serving temperature between 11 and 13°C.
The nose reveals a very great aromatic complexity. Dominated by menthol and lemony notes, fruit, floral and mineral aromas follow each other. Rich and rich, it impresses with the delicacy and delicacy of its aromas.
