Deep red, with ruby reflections. This racy wine offers beautiful aromas of red berries underpinned by a firm but elegant tannic structure that will soften with ageing.
Raspberries, strawberries, cherries, will evolve towards undergrowth, spices (tobacco) and leather.
Nice roundness, nice firmness, it is a powerful and fleshy wine. At the table, this wine will accompany good traditional cuisine based on stewed meats and vegetables, grilled meats, rib steaks or pieces of beef, Burgundy fondue, lamb braised or in sauce, minced meat and gratins, cheeses. You will appreciate it for the youth of these chewable fruits or after five to eight years for its maturity.
Drink within 8 years of harvest.
