DESCRIPTION
The Terenzuola estate is located in the extreme northern part of coastal Tuscany, in the Colli di Luni DOC, which also overlaps the southeastern corner of Liguria. This small estate is planted predominantly with Vermentino. The grapes are picked by hand and each plot is fermented separately and aged on the lees for 6 months before being blended/bottled.
This Vermentino is an excellent seafood wine. It is dry with great minerality and brininess that come from the maritime climate and the soils with fossilized shells. On the nose, it has hints of nutmeg and spices. Food pairing with anything seafood and shellfish, etc.
