A serious, concentrated and expressive wine, Vavasour Sauvignon Blanc flaunts a powerful bouquet of fresh herbs, tropical fruits and bright citrus. Ripe stone fruit flavours and a distinct minerality hold up well to rich, spicy foods.

You can see the influence of the more ocean-influenced Awatere Valley in this wine. It takes the shape of jalapeños, tomato stems and white spices. There’s a lovely balance of limy fruit and florals. And on the palate, that harmony continues with a textural mouthfeel lifted by crisp acidity and bright fruit.
