This wine offers wonderful aromas of vanilla, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries on the nose. On the palate, it is marvellously velvety and soft. Its long finish is characterized by fine nuances of vanilla. The 12 e mezzo Negroamaro del Salento IGP from Varvaglione Vigne & Vini is a lovely creation from the province of Taranto in South Italy.
The pure varietal Negroamaro is a ruby-red in colour with a purple shimmer. This red wine from Apulia was aged for at least six months in French oak casks.
