The wine has a brilliant color with ruby-red tones. The aromatic profile is rich and ripe with notes of red fruit such as plum and cherry and hints of Mediterranean scrub.
On the palate, the wine shows a full and harmonious flavor. It is concentrated, powerful, and well-balanced with good acidity. The finish is persistent and slightly spicy. It is excellent with pasta with wild boar ragu, or with medium-aged cheeses.
