Black plum, ripe black cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, licorice - a feast of dark fruit without too much jamminess. Beautiful spices from ageing: vanilla, cinnamon (almost chai-like), chocolate, forest floor.
A rich and complex wine, with a depth of intense flavours. Medium acidity and body, smooth and structured tannins.
