DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
This historic grape variety is the symbol not only of our region but of Italian wine as well: the Albana di Romagna grape was in fact the first white grape to receive the DOCG designation in all of Italy. It is a dry wine of significant character, boasting an intense bouquet and a vibrant palate.
Vinification
The grapes were pneumatically soft pressed and the must fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was left to rest in tank for 3 months prior to being bottled
Viticulture
The average age of the vines is 15 years old. Yields per hectare are 10,000 kg. Careful canopy management enables the clusters to reach optimum maturity.
Tasting Note
A dry, full and well-balanced dry white wine with a smooth and characteristic bouquet.
Everyday Serving Suggestion
At 10 to 12°C as an apéritif or to accompany typical Emilian pasta dishes such as tortellini, fish in sauces or stuffed pastas, such as tortellini and ravioli.
