Tupinier-Bautista Mercurey Vielles Vignes 2013 |
ery fruity wine, stewed red fruits on the palate, silky tannins, lots of freshness. Food pairing: Beef Bourguignon, Duck breast with currant mustard.
The family Tupinier has been growing vineyard on the Mercurey ground since 1770.
Their wines are aged following old traditions from Bourgogne in oak barrels and stored in secular cellars. The harvest is handmade, the wine making process is traditional and the bottling is done on property.
Thanks to all those attributes, the wines are harmonious, smooth, well-structured and of a high rank. Since 1997, Manu Bautista has succeeded to his father-in-law: Jacques Tupinier and inherits a vineyard large of 10 ha in the Mercurey area, a winery area in expansion.
