Tulip Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2019 |
This small-production wine is sourced from low-yielding vineyards in the Upper Galilee, painstakingly vinified by winemaker Tamir Artzi and his support team, and aged in premium French Oak barrels for 8 months. What you get is a deep purple wine with soft, pleasant tannins, aromas of violet, cassis and toast and lively, complex blackberry flavors. Try this with a well-made meatloaf, baked manicotti or duck confit.
Made with 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% each Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this wine offers a bouquet of black cherry, green pepper and toast. There is a nice balance of fruit and cooling herb flavors, featuring blackberry, eucalyptus, anisette and espresso bean. Lingering, velvety tannins continue on the palate until a final burst of cranberry on the finish.
