Trump Winery Meritage 2016

A simple cherry, blackberry and oak nose is pretty standard. This Meritage (pronounced like “heritage” dammit) is a mixture of 50% Cab Franc, 45% Merlot and 5% Malbec. There is medium body, firm tannins and aromas of wet earthy tones, old Bing cherries, herb, and straw. 

Full nose of back cherries and other black fruit. black fruit on taste with leather. nice earthy finish with red cherries.
